Global Chief Scientist and Advisor to the Director at EGI Utah
My retirement from Equinor at the end of May was never going to be easy – I’m used to having too much to do, rather than not enough. Luckily EGI were very quick off the mark with this offer, which will allow me to continue working geological projects worldwide.
EGI is one of the world’s largest geological consortia, and carries out energy-related research funded by its member companies.
The role is Global Chief Scientist and Advisor to the Director – which means I will represent EGI to member companies in Europe, help formulate projects, provide peer assist to both EGI and company affiliates, give short courses and provide general advice to the director of the consortium (Milind Deo, based in Salt Lake City, Utah).
