Visit to Moscow State University with Professor Antonina Stupakova April-May 2015 and May 2016.

Statoil (now Equinor) has a cooperation agreement with Moscow State University (MSU) to study onshore northern areas of Russia. The agreement includes funding of PhD students, who also gain experience in Statoil's offices.

As you see from the pics, MSU has a truly spectacular main building, one of Stalin’s post-war prestige projects. It also has a wonderful museum in the traditional style - i.e. not an adventure playground!

These visits included reviewing student projects, participation in workshops and, of course, being blown away by MSU's impressive architecture and its geological museum.
