New Book on Strike-Slip Terrains and Transform Margins

I'm very pleased to announce the publication of our book "Strike-Slip Terrains and Transform Margins: Structural Architecture, Thermal Regimes and Petroleum Systems," available from Cambridge University Press, co-authored by Michal Nemcok, Helen Doran and Andreas Henk. It's taken many years to pull together this rather wide-ranging story. Many experts kindly contributed material, ideas and discussions, and I would like to personally thank them all. For comprehensive acknowledgements, see Helen Doran's Linkedin post. Also you may find further details on the book, including a link to it on the Cambridge website.

I met Michal through my long association with the Energy & Geoscience Institute at the University of Utah, and have worked with him over the years on books, papers and seminars.  While we all contributed to the latest book, it really is a testament to Michal’s enormous energy and commitment.  Thank you for involving me, Michal!   It was a long haul, but it was worth it.

We're talking about organizing a short webinar, featuring all the authors, on some of the key issues covered by the book - so watch this space!
